Massachusetts Probate Attorney, Peter E. Bernardin has over twenty years experience helping families protect and preserve their assets. His practice includes estate planning, estate and trust administration, elder law, business planning and real estate. Mr. Bernardin is also a Certified Public Accountant.
  
Mr. Bernardin is a past Chair of the Massachusetts Bar Association Probate Council, and a current member of the Massachusetts Bar Association Tax Council.  He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, Essex County Bar Association and Salem Bar Association.   He is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.  

Mr. Bernardin is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.   He is also a current member and past Chair of the Personal Financial Planning Committee and a past member of the Technical Advisory Board of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. 

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Merrimack College (summa cum laude), his Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School, and an LL.M. in taxation from Boston University School of Law.

Mr. Bernardin regularly lectures to professional organizations on various estate, tax and business planning issues, and has published articles on various estate planning and income tax issues.  He serves on the Finance Committee and Land Committee for the Town of Boxford, Massachusetts, and is Past President of the Boxford Historical Society
